I applied for
membership to the Designed by Women Community on February 3, 2002.
I received a letter congratulating me on acceptance into the group on
February 7th. The huge welcome that followed was overwhelming and very
heart warming! I had signed up for the Birthday Committee and finished
my first gift within an hour of receiving my committee instructions. Well,
I just could not sit around and wait for next month...I really wanted to get
involved. I put this dedication page together, joined the Welcoming Committee,
signed up for Secret Sisters, and started a DBW Friendship Quilt. (If you have
a 100x70 square, please send it to me!) I now hold a staff position with DBW
and I love it! I look forward to a long and
wonderful relationship with this great group of ladies! From my heart to
yours, Dawn.
